Here's what we accomplished this week:
- tracing the history of dance from the Renaissance (and before) to the present
- Viewing videos demonstrating examples of hip hop, break, pop, lock, ballet, modern, jazz and tap dancing in various forms
- Discussion of movement, emotion, choreography, strength, balance, and genre of dance
- Participation in choreography sessions for hip hop, hip hop ballet, and modern dance
- Improvisation exercises in partners, and in teams
- Demos of live dance from mentors
- Actual choreography completed for parts of Season 25's show
A great time was had by all
